I would be very supprised. So would 66% of those voting in the pole.
I do think the difference between this season and last season is the addition of Myles Garret and the improvement with the CB position. This has to make things a bit more attractive to AD.
Last year's team was supposed to be competitive, and they were. But, if you are AD and everyone is saying the Rams are probably the best team (on paper) without adding him and they are the favored team (betting odds) to win the Super Bowl this year without adding him, you would think that he would see that as an advantage over last year's team and returning last season.
I do have concerns... Can he and Myles BOTH be the alpha? Does their reputation and history of awards create tension? If things don't go as planned, does AD just retire abrubtly in the middle of the season. After all, he now knows what retirement feels like. Do the defensive players not named Aaron or Myles end up not working as hard because they figure those 2 guys will still make things happen?
The chemistry on the "D" has been really good. Does adding too many new, or returning faces ruin the chemistry that was there previously?
These are all concerns that I would likely overlook and still give it a try if AD does want to come back. But, only if management and coaching staff knows they can manage all of those concerns. Otherwise, the Rams are likely a top 5 defense without AD and that improvement, if the offense puts up similar numbers as last year, is enough to get them to the Super Bowl.

What if he had just come back last year for the last half of the season?
