AI Overview
NFL quarterbacks drafted in the first round with fewer than 20 career college starts include Anthony Richardson (13), Mitchell Trubisky (13), Dwayne Haskins Jr. (14), Cam Newton (14), Mark Sanchez (16), Trey Lance (17), Kyler Murray (17), Mac Jones (17), and Ryan Tannehill (19).
These passers were selected largely on their physical potential and physical traits, though
the historical track record for prospects with such limited collegiate experience has been highly volatile.
Cam Newton might be the biggest name who also had the most success but he was the #1 overall pick and a legit Heisman trophy contender.
Is Ty any better than anyone of these dudes? Is he equal to or worse than these guys? A career backup or eventual starter?
There are some pretty big busts on that list. All eyes will be on Ty this preseason and the next preseason and the next one after that too! lol
I will be rooting hard for him unless he gives me reason to not have any confidence in him. As many here have mentioned, he is on the right team with the right offensive system. I was going to say the right coaches too but I really don't know how well McVay will do developing a kid as raw as Ty is. Time will tell.

#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
