Chuck Knox for all his known failures, had a better post season record then Allen. Allen did get his Redskins to the Super Bowl, finally, but that game should have 30-0, the Skins were totally outclassed. Old bald men is not the way to build a football team IMHO. When Carroll Rosenbloom hired back in 78, he touted Allen's record against Dallas, however, Dallas was not the real problem, it was Minnesota and George Allen could never beat the Vikings.
