OK... the reaql live rams I see fairly often have horns that nearly touch at the base and are thick, not thin. Your photos prove me out.
The horns do have an edge, as it were, along the outside. They are not perfectly round. Adding a graphic element to simulate that edge, OK. Slimming the whole horn down, not OK. Making the whole profile of the horn skinny, to make it more domestic goat-like, not OK.
And I think that's where the beef is, and has always been.
I'm with you - our helmet is STILL the best one.
But it could have, should have, remained closer to the original. Instead it looks like a purse and high-heeled pump designer ore hairdresser's
football fantasy on a day off. It should have more of a testosterone-driven sense to it. As-is, it looks domesticated, if not emasculated.
