Maybe it's simpler than that.
Maybe our man in charge of such things has never been in the country, or out to the mountains, and can't tell the difference between a bighorn sheep ram and a domestic goat. Most city boys are better sticking to city boy stuff.

Demoff had the perfect example of how a Rams horn should look on a helmet. It was already on the helmet! lol In 2 more years it will be the 80th anniversary of Mr. Gerhke's creating that iconic/historic design.
In all those years since 1948, Demoff was the ONLY one who thought it would be a good idea to change it and it wasn't for the better. He made it worse.
That tells me he thinks he knows better than the entire Rams fan base. Well, he was/is wrong. I do think he realizes it now but it's too late and his ego won't let him admit the mistake and change it back. What a shame.
I would respect Demoff if he did admit the mistake but we all know that will never happen.
Demoff has done a lot of good for the Rams but changing the uni definitely was not one of them. I am hoping his eventual replacement changes it back. He would be an instant hero.

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
