I am torn on this trade. Rams gave up a LOT in the trade. And I mean a LOT.
Guy is 30 years already. Has he seen his best days on a football field already. Would not be suprising if he has.
Verse was a fierce pass rusher himself, on the good side of 30 plus cheap for another season.

Could the Rams have kept Verse if they had offered the Nr. 13 this season instead of Verse ?

I bet that's what the Rams offered at first dodger but Cleveland said no and wanted a player as well. I posted an article about the Browns wanted a #1 + Jalen Carter from the Eagles for Garrett.

I wonder if the Browns and the Rams had a "verbal" agreement and the Garrett trade was to be done on Draft day but Cleveland renigged and demanded Verse too. I think maybe that is why McVay looked so pissed at the Simpson presser.
