I like the enthusiasm and getting picked to win it all is fun to see, but let's be serious for a minute. We haven't had a single full team practice, let alone played a meaningful game. There's a long road to grind down before we are crowned the 'best team in the league'. We are the best team, maybe, on paper. In your mind you can see this D stopping everyone and our offense just rolling down the field. But so much of the NFL comes down to health, and good bounces, and favorable officiating, and mistakes, and special teams and 100 other things.
I am very optimistic about our chances, but I'm realistic too. We're not going to sneak up on anyone.
