Garoppolo is 34, not old for a QB by any means. It wouldn't surprise me if the Rams give him a call if Stafford has to miss time any significant time.
My thought is if he was good enough to lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl he's probably good enough to lead this Rams team for a few games. Or more, if necessary.
