First, the Rams DID draft Simpson. So, that ship has sailed.
Second, we have absolutely no idea if the listed QB hierarchy for 2027 looks anything like what it wil be a year from now (hint: 90% probability it won't).
Third, we have no idea what the draft order will be next year and which teams will be in the QB market.
Fourth, unless Simpson dies or loses a leg, the Rams will not be the QB market next year other than at the fringe, throw a dart at the board (late), mode.
No offense meant. But tthe question itself is speculation about speculations, concerning facts that aren't apparent and what on the ground reality is today, post-draft.
