He clearly has not demonstrated that he is worth the $12M he would have been paid in 2027 on the 5th year option.

That stated, I believe he can be a solid contributor as our "dime" CB. Right now, our CB1 and 2 are Trent McDuffie and Jaylan Watson, and Quentin Lake is our nickel. Forbes will see his snap count greatly reduced, and will rarely, if ever, be put on an island against top WRs. I think he can succeed in this limited role.
