And he'd be running his mouth to the 15 second cutoff or whatever it is for the radio. I imagine that would work fine for your average defenses and below, we'd just struggle vs the legit playoff rosters who can get after the kid QB and mix those post-snap coverages.
If the window of play time is long, then we get a good look at our new young QB vs those playoff rosters.
If the window is short then I'd imagine the kid does fine. Rams have a great support structure in place for the QB2 and I think Simpson's floor is being a QB2 so I am not all that worried. Truth is the quality of QB2s around this league is rather terrible so having a young option in place that McVay has chosen means we are probably better off than most.
