Sorta like the thousands of fans who read and heard knee jerk fantasy fans and mock draft geek overreactions.
MCVAY HATED THE PICK - don't let the facts and the truth get in the way of a juicy lie and click bait. Once McVay and others confirmed the opposite the negative Nellys just rinse and repeat the same mantra as if it will be truer if they say it enough.
Those who feel like we missed a chance at help for 2026 must not have really believed in this franchises chances for success and so Les and Sean must if this team has a future.
I listened to their response and having followed the team most of my 62+ yrs I have a feel for this team's leadership and it is the most cohesive sense Dick Vermeil was running the team.
I also was shot down when I suggested there were more than first round QB in the draft. I was one who often mocked a QB to the rams to no delight of some fans and many had already checked into the all in Hotel running with an unofficial interpretation of what that meant.
Most of the QBs in this years draft and next years draft were not and are not asked to play the position like a pro. When I saw breakdowns of Ty Simpson I became convinced that he had the requisite skills that McVay would be enamored with. 15 college start plus years of grooming and he demonstrated competencies that even Arch had not shown. Most of the others biggest pluses was their explosive talents or off schedule abilities that their teams leveraged over a Pro style preparation and it is why many of them need more years and games however it really just comes down to speaking the coaches language having great foot work and discipline including great mechanics so if push comes to shove Ty has as much if not a greater chance of success if thrown into action action as Arch and his firends.
