Obviously I work the draft in my brain daily ... look at other mocks, supposed needs, etc.
So, while tracking, I try to see what needs and positions have "gaps" that might be exploited in trade downs or trade ups ...
What I'm seeing is a major dropoff after Iheanachor. And then only Tiernan, then another decent drop.
This is the "normal" order, not mine.
Mauigoa
Freeling
Fano
Miller
Proctor (I don't have him in this grouping)
Lomu
Iheanachor (I have him 3rd)
Then there's a cliff. (Because of this, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tiernan in the first)
What I'm seeing is that there are a number of teams behind us that need OT help.
If they don't get one in round 1, it's unlikely they get one ... thus this pushes OT up in the first round as teams scramble to fill a position of need.
AFTER US
Ravens (More likely after Ione)
Detroit
Pittsburgh
Philly
Cleveland (either takes one at 6 or here)
Houston
9ers
New England
Cardinals at 35 might trade back in...
That's a lot. the class this year is not great, and mostly ORTs, but the needs are generally there for that not the left side.
Detroit, Pitt and Philly I think are into trading ... Philly only because I believe they trade AJ Brown to the Raiders and end up with pick 33.
You all seeing what I'm seeing?
(I'm talking about trade downs and OT evals)
