The other is NIL and the transfer portal. Some of these guys are on their 4th team in 5 years. How do you get decent coaching that way. Coaches get you for a year, and by the time they figure out what you are good at, your mercenary butt is back in the portal, looking for the next bag, regardless of fit, how it impacts your future, etc...
Its a terrible business model. How would the NFL look if every single player was a FA every single year. Pure chaos and it would lead to bad football. Esp. the first half of every season.
