Tate is high floor high ceiling. Hard worker, contested catches, strong hands, deep ball hunter ... blocker.
I think the Chiefs will want Sadiq or McCoy.
I think the Commanders take him at 7 if Love is gone. If Love is there and the Saints don't take him ... trade up with the Bengals if Downs is gone or the Dolphins if he is there for a 27 pick.
Then trade down with later picks for mid rounders. Because with Tate, that's a crazy gift.
McVay and Snead may feel that Tate could be the last missing piece for this Rams offense going into next season to make their SB run.
And of course they would have him going forward with their new future QB. Devante will be gone.
It will be easier for them to find another slot in next years draft. They found Kupp in round 3 and Puka in round 5. They can find slots! I`m assuming they go for a QB in round 1 next year and do not have a 3rd.
Will be tough finding a guy like Tate this year and next.
