I think the idea is to get in front of Miami, who is picking #11 and not allowing another team to move up ahead of the Rams #13 pick to get him. You never know what Dallas is going to do.
If McVay and Snead like Tate as much as I think they may, I could see them at least try, the same way they tried with McMillan last year and Bowers two years ago.
