I've been saying all along that I think the Rams will use FA to fill "needs". You don't take a rookie and count on them to fill an important need. Sometimes you are short of rostered players and you have holes that FA costs too much to fill. The Rams are not in that position.
So, at CB they will look to FA. They know it's a true need.
Impact players are who the Rams will shoot for in round one, and it almost doesn't matter which position. This is one of the reasons why trying to mock the Rams draft is nearly impossible. Because who you and I may see as an impact player might not be their's.
