Many fans will get their hearts a flutter over the Combine numbers and many will just fall in love with ‘their guy’ even to the point that they lose sight of the Big Picture. Happens every year.
Snead will do his best to plug best fitting FA’s into current Ram weaknesses which will give him maximum versatility options during draft. Happens every year.
Then Snead will try to work his magic via trades or simple picks to extract maximum value for Ram-type potential difference makers at the top of draft followed by securing a gem player(s) later in draft. Few GM’s do this better. Happens every year.
Lastly, Snead will sift through UDFA’s and come up with a small handful that actually make the team. Happens every year. I expect ST will get healthy this offseason as a result of McVay finally putting sufficient resources into it.
