The TE group got cut off for me, I saw 40s and the gauntlet and that's it. If someone saw the blocking sled drills or anything else let me know. When I'm scouting this position I'm looking for UDFAs that could challenge Redman for slot 4 ... I love our TE room. That said there are a lot of athletes with plus hands ... but that's also why I'm not trying really hard to find the coverage. The guys I'd be hoping for we wouldn't have t spend draft capital on and all I need for that is numbers and hands.
Also, when I do these for offense I'm scouting as a fantasy football player.

The Safety class was a good time. Not a lot of rising and falling in comparison to one another (Though Thieneman likely jumped McNeil-Warren) but a lot of specialization aspects kinda got fleshed out through a really solid on field workout (for most, a couple that didn't run the 40s were trying too hard and dropped some balls). And the speed was wild.

The CB group I didn't enjoy as much as I wanted to. But a few things really stood out as a result. Also, Terrell was 5-11 186.



TE

Dallen Bentley, Utah Came in more athletic than I had figured ... my issue with him was drops, and he might get lost and ne UDFA in this class. But he can move.I think he gets drafted, but its later day 3

Nate Boerkircher, Texas A&M No 40 or burst #s ... hands are pretty solid. I didn't really learn anything.Blocking first TE with very little reception production.

Josh Cuevas, Alabama Didn't see him as this fast, so that's cool. I know he became a leader over the course of the year and was a transfer. Made some big catches. Could have his best football a few years in front of him. Probably worth a late 5th. Yeah, I'd agree with this, H Back sized so some posditional flexibility.

Oscar Delp, Georgia DNP ... bummed there. Catches a lot of TDs and makes some solid plays, I thought he'd end up being top 5 in this class.Also bummed, he is still my day TE target

Khalil Dinkins, Penn State ... hands are an issue. Off my board.

Jack Endries, Texas Had the best gauntlet, and interestingly caught passes from Mendoza last year and Manning this year ... two #1 overall QBs? Numbers are solid and I like the tape. 4.62 40 36 vert 1.59 split. He's got a nice size/athletic combo going and I like his pass catching ability.

John Michael Gyllenborg, Wyoming This guy I had no tape on, but he's been popping the entire offseason. Smooth athlete with big solid hands. 4.22 SS and 4.60 40. No 3 cone, but the short shuttle gives me enough of an idea. He's likely a 2nd TE that gives you value ... 4th or 5th round?He's a nice day TE that with a good TE coach could really outperform his draft position.

Matthew Hibner, SMU Long speed at 4.57 and 28 reps. He could be a player. His tape is solid. Early day 3?I agree, he can block and his speed is a problem for defenses

Justin Joly, N.C. State No 40 ... solid in the gauntlet but not great. Solidified the tape I saw. He caught a lot of passes so he knows how to work the middle of the field and get open. In this class no one is really striking at the second or 3rd round so he'd be a reach if he got there.Not my type of TE, but he is a solid pass catcher that is not a good blocker, day 3

Will Kacmarek, Ohio State Try hard guy with special teams effort in his bones. can catch a pass if you need him to.

Jaren Kanak, Oklahoma Second best gauntlet (and the fastest) ... undersized at 6-2 234 ex LB ... but I can't count him out because he gets the job done. He has been a TE for literally 1 year. LB before that. QB before that. Day 3 guy that is undersized, but has a lot of upside?

Miles Kitselman, Tennessee He's slow ... I like the kid but I don't think he makes an NFL roster. Average blocker for an in-line TE with really shaky hands, maybe day 3

Max Klare, Ohio State One of my most disappointing players this last year (Luke Hasz was most disappointing for TEs) but likely because he was on Ohio State and they had many mouths to feed. Solid gauntlet but didn't run a 40. I kinda need that time.He's my TE3, I like this kid, gonna assume round 3, needs to get better as a blocker.

Marlin Klein, Michigan Interesting kid for a late rounder, from Germany I think? Full 6-6 and had a solid day.High upside that is already a good blocker, good athlete and late to football so his upside is immense. I really like him day 3. Team captain.

Tanner Koziol, Houston Been a fan since he was at Ball State. Catches a lot of passes and a lot of first downs and a lot of TDs. Just short of 6-7 and just short of 34 inch arms. I have him right in the middle of the 3rd round. I think he could be a plus starter in a few years. He's a fun kid. I think his personality gets him drafted a little higher. So we disagree on this kid. His pass blocking is uninspiring and he needs to get stronger, thinking day 3.

RJ Maryland, SMU Son of Russell, never quite caught on anywhere, either injuries or transferring. Showed off athleticism enough to make a team on ST but also showed natural hands. His speed is long speed. I don't think he is draftable.

Lake McRee, USC No 40. Fan of his tape, made some great catches for Maiava. Didn't have a very good gauntlet, that was surprising, but timed speed will matter in this class. I feel like he's a 3rd rounder that could be had in the 5th.Round 5 seems right, 2 ACL may drop him down even further.

Riley Nowakowski, Indiana H back FB.

Eli Raridon, Notre Dame Another almost 6-7 kid. Rough gauntlet. He plays angry and I think his ceiling is high. 4.62 40 at that size is noteworthy. A ton of upside, why? Because he tore his right ACL in 2021 and 2022...he can catch and block though.

DJ Rogers, TCU DNP Had a solid senior bowl practice, got hurt then?

Sam Roush, Stanford So, he wound up being a better athlete than I had thought. Also, really good 3 cone at 7.08. Bursty 38.5 vert to go with 25 reps. And he had good tape. Again Im thinking round three that could slide in this class (I don't mean TE class, just the overall I don't think as many TEs go top 100 because of defensive talent).Big, excellent blocker, good hands, round 4 is his floor. I like his game and as a Rams fit.

Joe Royer, Cincinnati DNP So, hyped up during the season and has solid hands and tape ... announcers talking about top 50 TE ... I just haven't seen it anywhere else and he wasn't on the field here. Cincinatti has some players last year. He's a pass catcher only at this point, day 3 IMO, certainly not top 50.

Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon 4.39 will get him drafted early. Likely too early. I'm just not a huge fan. I likely have him closer to the bottom of the second.2nd TE we disagree on. Love his game, I'd take him as high as 13 and let McVay terrorize defenses. He might be the best blocker in the class as well.

Bauer Sharp, LSU This is a UDFA target for me. Plays angry, was 2nd TE behind the young phenom kid and will be overlooked as a result. Not super bursty but has better build up speed with a 4.63 40. Solid hands. Also LSU was kind of a mess this year.

Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt Broke the Vert record. Maybe the most underrated Mackey award winner. He and Sadiq are not far apart for me and Stowers could easily end up being the better asset. But projections have him where, the 4th? He basically played like a WR that could block decently then showed up big at 6-4 235 (Brock Bowers size) and was an amazing athlete. Catches everything. Just saw his performance has him in the top 50 convo now. He is also my TE2 and a 2nd round lock. I don't think he can get into round 1, but top 55-60 for me.

Michael Trigg, Baylor DNP. He's being talked about as the #2 TE ... I have yet to see it. I have seen enough to know he'll get drafted, but is he a starter? My TE4 or 5, so probably round 4ish, Seam stretcher with long arms and is a redzone target, no blocking really.

Dae'Quan Wright, Mississippi DNP Was a stable part of the Ole Miss attack for Chambliss. Usually used close to the LOS. Late round but I don't have numbers enough to say if he'd be an asset on special teams.




CB I'm going to note here that in drills, the first performers got cut off by commercials like 5 times.

Keith Abney II, Arizona State DNP ... for a guy pressing round 1 I wish he had been able to.He didn't have to test, he measured smaller than advertised at 5'-10" with 30" arms, he is a nickel CB only now to me, so he slid into the 2nd. I really liked his game as an outside CB at ASU

Marcus Allen, North Carolina ... interesting testing #s ... 4.5 40 with a 1.64 split. I mentioned before I measure CBs "recovery speed" ... this is an example as his "back 30" was 2.86 ... drills were kinda clunky he's a bottom of the roster type guy in my mind.Agree 100%

Jadon Canady, Oregon No testing ... he's a mid round nickel all day and drilled pretty smooth.

Brandon Cisse, South Carolina DNP, again see Abney. Disappointed for sure, but he is probably my CB5 regardless of testing, film is rock solid. He fits the Rams. 29 makes sense for him.

Tacario Davis, Washington Really good testing numbers. And he's 6-4. 33.5 inch arms. But he's a PBU guy, not so much an INT guy, hands are iffy. I honestly don't know where he goes. 2nd? 5th? His tape is solid.I think 4th or 5th. Cover 3 type. I was impressed with his testing.

Mansoor Delane, LSU DNP, no danger here. Was smaller than I thought by a tad.He is CB1 until proven otherwise by McInjured.

Charles Demmings, Stephen F. Austin Good times, burst #s really good. 42 vert. But note ... the back 30 is exactly the same as Allen's at 2.86 even though he ran a 4.41 40. His movement skills were solid, feels like he starts as a 4th CB.Yeah, a day 3 guy that has solid size and is a good athlete

Thaddeus Dixon, North Carolina No #s ... and a bit clunky in drills. Maybe not draftable.

Daylen Everette, Georgia Helped himself a lot. I am usually not a UGA guy for CBs but I'm interested at 29 now and I believe he jumped some people. Not the 4.38, I expect that from Georgia ... he was one of 4-5 guys with flawless drill work. Maybe trade down from 29 and still get him? Maybe Im the only one seeing this and he lasts to 61? He lasts until 61, his tape shows a guy that is more sluggish in his movements than his testing showed. Combine screams round 1, film screams round 3 or 4. He will be top 100 though

Andre Fuller, Toledo This school makes good DBs. Speed is good for a big kid and he's smooth enough to play outside or inside I think. I feel like he made money but how much? 6-1 200 and 4.49 40 with a 10-9 broad is noteworthy and gets you on special teams day 1. 4th round? Day 3 for sure, round 4 or 5, Rams have met him once already. I like his game.

Jaylon Guilbeau, Texas DNP .. bummed.

TJ Hall, Iowa Good 3 cone and short shuttle combined with a 4.62 40 at 6-1 190 makes him a safety for me. I'd rather him be in the middle of the field.

Ahmari Harvey, Georgia Tech DNP

Colton Hood, Tennessee Love the competitive nature. I think there's a gap after Delane and he'll be overdrafted, but that's the nature of playing a high profile position. 40 vert and 4.44 at 6-0 193 is nothing to sneer at, but Q Mitchell went at 23. If he goes in the teens, that's kinda early for me.Yeah, I am not as high as you are, CB 5 or 6 I think, still a first rounder maybe. I don't like the fact that he played at Auburn, then Colorado then Tenn...why? He's only started for 1 full year as well...

Davison Igbinosun, Ohio State Still have no idea where to put this kid. He's a little stiff and not bursty for me, better long speed ... his tape improved. Likely a 3rd rounder you put outside and hope he doesn't revert to grabbing guys.Improved his penalties, later round 3 to round 4 I'd guess, I'm struggling with him as well.

Domani Jackson, Alabama Wanted to see him run, DNP.Another one I have not idea what to do with, maybe I'll stack Jackson, Igbinosun and Everette all together 99, 100 and 101 lol.

Chris Johnson, San Diego State Definitely solidified himself and maybe jumped Hood. Another of the "smoothest drills" club. Count me in at 29. He may not get there now.My CB 4 and he justified my mocking him to the Rams at 29. Yeah, he might not get to 29.

Will Lee III, Texas A&M Better burst than long speed ... a little clunky. Tall and decently long. Later mid round guy I think. 42 vert helps him climb a bit.

Hezekiah Masses, Cal Ball hawk I've been secretly hoping to take as a second CB choice. I like Cal DBs. 6-1 180 with short arms ... weak burst #s ... but a solid 40 (4.46) for long speed and good hands. Good nose for the ball. Hoping he makes the 5th.He should make the 5th, I also like him as a 2nd CB pick.

Jermod McCoy, Tennessee DNP, obvi. But says he is 100% and ready to go, at this point I do not care, test whatever Jermod, its been like 15 years since your ACL tear, you either want to play football or you don't. Sounds like Dallas has already taken him off their board.

Latrell McCutchin Sr., Houston No field drills, which was a bummer. 4.43 with a weak split, which didn't make sense with his burst #s ... solid agility 7 3 cone and 4.19 SS. If he had solid drills he's a second rounder, so I don't know what happened.No INTS, ever. I am not near the fan, day 3 guy that I think lacks ball skills or instincts or both

Devin Moore, Florida Injured, ran a 40 anyway but could only do straight line stuff.

Malik Muhammad, Texas Smooth drill club #3. And likely made himself a good deal of money between smooth drills and really good #s. Probably won't make 61 if we were interested. 6-0 182 with 32.5 arms. 1.51 split is the note. Same as T Pride. Burst is good for zone. 10-10 broad. Trade down from 29? I'd keep it in mind. I also had hopes for 61, not anymore. Good day for him.

Julian Neal, Arkansas Moves like a safety. ST contributor immediately.

D'Angelo Ponds, Indiana 43.5 vert, no 40, but great field drills, in the smooth club. 5-9 182. He'll be a nickel and could go early. we don't need a nickel, right? I don't think the Rams need a nickel, but I love his game, his competitive fire, his toughness. I wish he was 2 inches taller.

Toriano Pride Jr., Missouri Paced the 40 at 4.32. Drills were plus but his hands were a bit messy. He's a nickel and had solid but not great agility #s. Tape is 3rd 4th round but his numbers may put him in round 2.

Ephesians Prysock, Washington 6-3 198 running a 4.45 is meaningful. Has better hands than his teammate. 39 vert ... tape is solid. Still not quite sure where he goes. Feels like top 100 later day 2 type guy.4th rounder for me and a guy I would like to see the Rams get as the 2nd CB drafted.

Chandler Rivers, Duke No drills, but he, like Masses, have been my 2nd pick later in the draft, though I don't know that he makes that after running and jumping how he did. He's smaller but decently thick, great in run support. So 5-9 hurts him, but a 10-10 broad and 4.4 40 puts him in range to be a plus nickel for someone.yup another nickel. should be a steal for someone IMO.

Keionte Scott, Miami DNP ... might hurt in this class. He was sitting where a lot of the movement was.I still think he is a round 2 type, nickel or FS that does his best work around the LoS, love his fire.

Avery Smith, Toledo Slower 40, good 3 cone, short arms, makes him a nickel. God but not great drills. Hands were plus.

Avieon Terrell, Clemson Biggest deal was 5-11 186. 31 inch arms. He can survive just fine outside. 17 reps on bench but lower burst #s? Last of the smooth drill club. I doubt he jumps Hood but also doubt he makes 29 unless Johnson jumps him (which is totally possible). So I have his as an inside/outside versatile CB with great run support. CB3 for me, not sure he gets to 29.

Collin Wright, Stanford No 40 ... 39 inch vert. Had a solid day of drills and catching the ball ... I don't go back and watch tape but if I did, this guy would have made me do it. Shorter arms for 6-0 188 (30 inches) but had a good day and a 39 vert should translate into a decent time.


S This is a great group. Probably smart move is to wait but I wouldn't be sad if we happened to take solid talent early. The high end is high, the next tier is really solid, and the worst player here I'd still say is draftable. Maybe one guy doesn't deserve to be drafted but he didn't workout so he may have made his case had he done so.
And as a note ... I don't know that these guys really jumped rounds or jumped each other because it's not a highly sought after position, just basically makes all of them steals wherever they're drafted.

Bud Clark, TCU I was worried about his speed ... yeah 4.41 put that to bed. Could he still be had at 93? I'd have to think so. 38 vert.End or round 3 is perfect, I like his game, but again TCU defenders...wish he was tougher against the run

Caleb Downs, Ohio State DNP obvi.

Bishop Fitzgerald, USC Likely a 5th or 6th rounder in this class, but 4.55 is not bad at all and he has good hands.

A.J. Haulcy, LSU Likely my biggest riser, didn't recognize him fast enough at LSU to remember how much I liked him at Houston. So watching his drill work was really fun. 4.52 is plenty good even if he's not that bursty, but he's every bit of 215 lbs at 6-0. Had the best gauntlet of any DB. Could really jump to round 2 IMO but as safeties are valued who knows.He is SAF4 and a solid 2nd rounder, good all around game.

Jalen Huskey, Maryland DNP ... but he's solid all day.

Dalton Johnson, Arizona I like both AZ safeties, but a 4.41 is a 4.41. Better production from him. Mid round, and again you're dealing with a player mixing into a great class where he'd stand out in others.

Jalon Kilgore, South Carolina Man he had a great day. 6-1 210 and a 4.4 flat? Looking at round 2 again ... but does he slide? 10-10 broad. Day 2 somewhere, might be SAF5. Best in split safety or box. Would not use him single high.

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Toledo 6-3 201 ... 4.52 but he drilled faster than most everyone else. Full speed no governor on. Does he fall to the back of round 1? Normally it wouldn't hurt to run a 4.52 but he was at the bottom of the group. Maybe we get lucky with that?I was impressed, SAF3 He could be a target at 29, I think either him or Theineman could go 2nd behind Downs, depending on team fits.

Louis Moore, Indiana Smooth field work but was told multiple times to speed up. Had 6 INTs last year but in this class he's a late rounder.Later day 3 guy.

Ahmaad Moses, SMU 5-9 196 with a 38 inch vert, no 40. He's a hitter. I feel like I saw him do some drills then disappear, might be wrong, likely to be had late.

Xavier Nwankpa, Iowa Noteworthy bit of history, one of the higher recruits Iowa has gone after as a 4 star. I have liked his game his whole career but he seemed to have injury issues this last year. He's 6-2 208 and runs a 4.48 with a 37.5 vert. Hands are ... iffy. I'd bet on more FF han INTs. Again, you're looking at this kind of talent in round 5. He is the SAF I would target if I didn't need an immediate starter. I really like his game. Later day 3

VJ Payne, Kansas State I like K State DBs .. I wanted him to have better INT production but he had a solid day and wayyyyy better #s than I anticipated. He's 6-3 208, ran a 4.4 flat with a 10-7 broad and 1.52 split. So you're looking at a special teams demon who is well trained in technique and a superior athlete.My round 4 SAF, I think he could be a serious Rams target, depending on what happens with Curl.

Kamari Ramsey, USC Another good football player and athlete ... just looks average or below in this class. 4.47 speed is plenty good at 200 lbs. Yeah, definition of average. Day 3 guy for me.

DeShon Singleton, Nebraska 6-3 205 just jumped, so ... hurt? 39 vert 10-10 broad. Im not really a fan of his tape but special teams is another thing.

Genesis Smith, Arizona So, liked him coming in as a sleeper and he still is. No 40, but did other measurement #s (including best vert at 42.5) and had a solid day of drills. 4.18 short shuttle is also impressive for a roamer in the middle of the field. Kid his good tape and leadership skills. Could be had late and make an impact. Not too late though. round 4 or 5?

Robert Spears-Jennings, Oklahoma Did NOT see the 4.32 coming. 6-2 205 ... likely a mid round to later mid guy for his tape, but any guy you pick in this group goes on special teams as an athlete. He might be a "little" stiff but my ding for him is on lack of INTs.Yeah I was shocked, he lacks awareness in coverage, day 3

Treydan Stukes, Arizona I had him as a CB, and there are two other AZ safeties so I don't know what's up, but he ran a 4.33 at 6-1 190 and had a 1.50 split. Did not do drills. I liked him at CB in my notes so I don't know what's up. Was a nickel and a safety, day 3 depth and ST guy that works hard

Lorenzo Styles Jr., Ohio State He's fast, and it's tough to measure Ohio State safeties that play next to Caleb Downs. Yeah, I have him later day 3, I hope thats fair.

Michael Taaffe, Texas Really good football player and leader. I think his brain is second round but in this class his athleticism at 4.5 40 is actually "poor" ... so it depends on the defense and what type of player you need. This is a good football player who will make your team better.ST will be his calling card early, he walked on Texas because he is a 5th generation Longhorn, he just believes in himself and outworks everyone.

Dillon Thieneman, Oregon Have a day, dude. Just a pleasure to watch. I watched all thienemann brothers come through Purdue (3? Yes Jake and Brennan) and he was the best 2 games into his freshman year ... this is the separating factor. SAF2, I doubt he gets to 29, love his game, his testing was even better. Insane

Jakobe Thomas, Miami Solid player, rough day to not run the 40 and then have a weak workout.

Zakee Wheatley, Penn State In this class he's barely draftable but he's also actually very good. 6-3 203, can tackle. Just not noteworthy in a really competitive class. weaker burst #s and average workout.I have him somewhere in the middle of the pack, but I like Penn St safeties.

Again to finish with the safeties with a story I heard as I finished up watching their day ... DJ said he got a text from a GM that just said "Bad day for FA safeties" ... and really it was. Maybe good for the Rams and resigning Curl...
