Rams_43
Couple of things.
RB’s have shortest shelf lives of any position, I believe.
But more importantly, there will be an outstanding football player there for Rams at 13 if they’re just patient. Could be an O player, could be a D player but who cares? Name of the game is to add difference makers when possible.
We already have a very nice RB corps so why gild the lily when there are other needs crying for attention?
Understood. Point taken. I agree RB "shelf life" can short for the average player but Love seems like he could be the outlier. Love isn't average from what I have seen and read.
So, to answer your question: "We already have a very nice RB corps so why gild the lily when there are other needs crying for attention?", you might've already answered it.
Kyren is already 4 years into his career. If RB's really do have a "short shelf life", how much longer does Kyren have? Corum looks ok but make no mistake about it, he's no Love and might not even be another Kyren.
Yes, there are other "needs" but as you always say Snead is great at later round picks, FA's and UDFA's so we can stll fill those needs via trade or draft.
Having said that, I prefer to trade for FA's and sign UDFA's who can start right away, not 3 years from now. We are in a WIN NOW mode so let's go ALL IN while we still have Stafford and the window is still open.
JMO, of course!

#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
