So, is Love their best move? Especially requiring a trade up?
I don’t think so.
It all depends on FA, of course, but I suspect that Snead will be investing 13 and/or 29 in other than a RB.
My question back at you would be who would have a bigger, long term impact on the team?
Love seems like a lock to be a great "difference maker" or as close to a lock as you can get. He would make the passing game better so Puka and Adams stay rested. Our TE's would be better as well.
Love would also make Stafford's life easier too not having to throw as much and therefore take less of a pounding on his aging body. In fact, I would say getting Love might just EXTEND Stafford's career a bit longer! That might be the most important reason to get him! lol
I know we had a great offense "last year" but there are no guarantees that next year will be the same with the current group.
Plus, Love should be a huge weapon for years to come from DAY 1. Most other rookies wouldn't even start for McVay. That's just how McVay works.
Are there any players you know of that would have as big of an impact as Love would at 13 or 29?
How would you feel if Snead traded 13 + 29 for more lower picks and future 1 or 2? (I could see this happening)
I think we need to go "all in" while we still have Stafford. Love would help that. We can still trade for FA's that would start right away if needed. Plus, Snead is great at late round picks, right? After getting Love, I am confident Snead and McVay could still fill the other holes that need to be filled.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
