After next year
How would Brock have done if he played in a QB friendly offense like McVay's and also have the coaching/guidance that only McVay can provide?
Brock was "led" by one of my all time Fav's John Robinson but let's be honest. Robinson was no McVay when it came to offenses. He was a run first guy, wasn't he? Not sure he had a clue when it came to the passing game.
"During Dieter Brock's only season with the Los Angeles Rams in 1985,
the team did not have a designated offensive coordinator. Head coach John Robinson ran the offense, with assistance from quarterbacks coach Paul Hackett. Brock started 15 games that year, leading the team to the NFC West title."
IMO, no matter who the QB is after Stafford leaves, which I think isn't for at least another 2 years, Love would instantly make the QB's job easier.
If we are going "all in", let's really go all in! Love would be a weapon for at least the next 5 years and I would at least see what it would take to get him in horns.

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
