I apologize Alyo, but I'm just gonna piggyback

March 01, 2026 03:27PM
off your post. I started my own, but I think its easier for the board to have just 1 post like this to keep it all in one place, it also makes it easier for everyone to see what we agree and disagree on. I know how much time goes into posts like these, so I hate feeling like I'm cheating though.

Okay, so I'm halfway through Day 2 watching ... just have to consider every area of athleticism upgraded by 10-15%... Everyone is smooth and knows the drills ...
The rip and spin is one of my favorites ...

Also? I have started to watch the pass rush drill where they smack the bags, that was boring to me but this year I turned the sound up for the pop. I think it matters.

DT

Cameron Ball, Arkansas Late rounder, but solid rotational piece ... moved well, and has solid tape.

Caleb Banks, Florida I'm hesitant. Injuries and such, and he complained about his cleats and cut his workout short. Not into his mindset and has missed a lot of games, no reason to keep him on my board. When I started my own post, I wrote almost the same thing. The cleat excuses, the injuries. I am not sure I trust him. He will not be on my Rams only big board.

Nick Barrett, South Carolina Ran what I expected ... these guys are all muscled up and running 5.05s or less. Late round beef.

Rayshaun Benny, Michigan Didn't run ... but smooth in drills. He's a Pro rotational guy likely mid round.

DeMonte Capehart, Clemson Athlete. A little herky jerky ... might get overdrafted ... I like smoother better.Yeah, everyone thought he was a riser, I don't see it. Plus having Woods next to him, he should have looked so much better in game.

Brandon Cleveland, N.C. State meh

Dontay Corleone, Cincinnati Didn't run or workout, but weighed in at 340. This is a target for me. Again, I want an heir to Poona Ford at some point.Yeah, I really like him, I'm concerned about his conditioning at his size at only 6'-0 1/2"...sub 32" arms. Early day 3?

Zane Durant, Penn State Have yourself a day fella ... Love watching guys blow the announcers away and make a name for themselves. Penn State has great athletes and a great defense ... dunno how high he climbs but he made a lot of money.a 6'-1" 290 lb. 3T with a ton of twitch, he lacks arm length at under 32" and power is not his game, day 3 with a year in a weight room and he is a steal IMO.

Bryson Eason, Tennessee Definitely one of the separators. Late round beef is good ... early to mid round rotational is where this guy is at now. He moved really well at 320.Kid surprised me, gotta go back and look at a Tenn. game again. I will say this, he has a super THICC lower half.

Deven Eastern, Minnesota So, this guy is still a bit of an enigma, because some of his drills were great and some were clumsy. His tape is also like that ... so a rare guy where I didn't get any help from the combine.Enigma is a great word. I have no I idea where you slot him, too high cut to be a NT, not quick or athletic enough to be a 3T, so maybe a DE in a 3-4? Late day 3 IMO.

David Gusta, Kentucky One of the guys where I wished I still had some tape to watch, did not see any of that coming, anyone have thoughts on this guy? That athleticism can't be ignored. another thick lower body kid, I waas impressed with his testing, he has next to no college production though.

Gracen Halton, Oklahoma From what I understand he improved all year and became a leader on that line ... his postseason is really solid ... I don't think he gets to round 5 and could go as early as late 2nd. His best football is ahead of him.So weird, another guy with 31" arms, I think he is an early day 3 situational pass rusher from the interior. Maybe a 5T, but lacks the length for that?

Lee Hunter, Texas Tech Dude just checked the boxes. You know what you are getting with him. An almost if not elite run stopper and just a pocket pusher on passing downs. So a 2 down NT. Poor man's Vita Vea? Round 2 I think.

Darrell Jackson Jr., Florida State I don't have much FSU watched ... but this is a big man that moves really well ... I'm guessing no later than 3rd round now.Agree.

Bobby Jamison-Travis, Auburn I liked him better than I thought, but still a late rounder or UDFA.

Tim Keenan III, Alabama So, one of the widest bodies that worked out (Corleone is wider) ... his movement skills were smooth and his arms are powerful. Watching him for possible NT in the 5th.I came away not as impressed as you did, but I didn't like Overton either. Maybe its a Bama bias.

Jackie Marshall, Baylor I thought he had a decent workout but he's not really a standout anywhere.

Chris McClellan, Missouri Thought he had a great day following a really solid season. I feel like he's a 2nd round talent that may wind up deep in the 3rd.Tape makes him look stiff, then he tests really well. No idea, but I think 3rd or 4th round.

Kayden McDonald, Ohio State He had a weird day and gave weird vibes, may have just been over excited, as he was PFFs #1 run defender. He's a stud, I think he was trying too hard to act like someone he isn't. But yeah, weird.

Christen Miller, Georgia High graded kid DNP

Tyler Onyedim, Texas A&M I am not seeing it here ... again, he's not big and also not super hard edge. UDFA for me, which may be a rough grade but I saw a lot of A and M.

Domonique Orange, Iowa State I like him, DNP. 2 of my 3 targets DNP.SO do I. Alot.

Kaleb Proctor, Southeastern Louisiana First real look at him, and he did not disappoint. I feel liike he'll need weights for a year but he's a really twitchy and smooth kid.I wrote the same thing in my DL/LB post I started. Wow.

Albert Regis, Texas A&M Late round beef, see Ball and Barnett.

Gary Smith III, UCLA I came away thinking UDFA. Only one who kinda looked like he didn't belong.

Damonic Williams, Oklahoma older kid, watched him on the final four TCU team. He had a good day, and I think he had some rough patches in college and I feel like I need the whole story, but he's a highly recruited kid who ended up bouncing around a bit. Might be a steal.

Peter Woods, Clemson DNP. Might have been a mistake not to unless he's injured.Down year like everyone at Clemson, then no testing, he isn't my top DT and certainly not a top 10 guy.

DE

Vincent Anthony Jr., Duke I don't care about his forty. He's a really big kid and wins with length and power. He would be our "big edge" type. Likely 3rd or 4th round.

David Bailey, Texas Tech Will go at 2 overall. An absolute beast.

Rueben Bain Jr., Miami Wish he'd participated. It'll likely hurt him "a bit"So, I'm not so concerned about the testing, his body of work is elite. My concern is what I expressed earlier, his 30 7/8" arms. THat said, tape speaks for itself, still a top 10 guy.

Jaishawn Barham, Michigan I think he pulled up on his forty, but he's a sneaky steal type of player. If he slides he'd be a real get.Ton of off ball LBer this year, what position does he play? Move him around?

Keyron Crawford, Auburn No 40, but had maybe the best field workout of anyone. Smooth, powerful. I liked him at Auburn so I'm not shocked but he became a target ... I;m looking at these guys in the 3rd or 5th, and only a few possibilities for the 2nd.So here's the deal with this kid, late to football, super twitchy, athletic and raw. His best football is in front of him, of that I have no doubt. He's gonna be a steal for someone on day 2.

Caden Curry, Ohio State No 40, a little heavy footed, but 11 sacks means effort. Pretty smooth in drills just not twitchy .. heavy hands.

Dani Dennis-Sutton, Penn State First time I saw him I said to myself "that's a top ten player" ... and he's not mentioned in the top 50. I watched his combine and said "That's a top ten player" ... 6-5 264 4.62 for 1.62 split ... 6.90 3 cone. Drills were perfect. No idea why he's not higher rated. 40 inch vert man ... at 265.Shocked on his testing, he plays slower than he tested. He's a 43 DE, so I don't have to worry about a Rams fit.

Logan Fano, Utah DNP

Keldric Faulk, Auburn No 40 ... and kind of a tweener. Im not as high on him I'd have him mid to late second. So if you recall, I said at the beginning of the college season that he might be the best defender in the draft, he had a down season, he hasn't really developed a pass rush, so a later round 1 run stuffer with the athletic traits to develop into a complete DE.

George Gumbs Jr., Florida I feel like he got derailed a bit in his 40 ... turf was slick. He's an athlete to watch late.

Romello Height, Texas Tech High effort and motor guy ... I know Dead loves him ... he could get to us in the 3rd I think ... had a solid day and paced everyone it felt like. 4.64 40OK, yes I do, he gained 5 lbs since the Senior Bowl, he needs to add 8-10 more without losing his explosiveness, because he eats a ton of turf up in a short time. My issue is he will be 25 in his rookie year, how maxxed out is he?

Cashius Howell, Texas A&M Had the best 10 split of DEs at 1.58 ... and he flew through the drills ... I feel like his window of where he could be drafted is huge. I hate to keep doing this, but if the talking heads keeps saying teams care about arm length, his 30 1/4" arms are a problem, that said, if you are so quick they can't their hands on you, its not a problem, his edge setting is hurt by those arms though.

Aidan Hubbard, Northwestern DNP

Quintayvious Hutchins, Boston College Kinda wanted him to be a little twitchier for being on the small side, might not get drafted.

Gabe Jacas, Illinois Did the bench (30) and DNP the rest ... He's likely polarizing but as a 4-3 edge I thin he could go in round 2.Seems right to me.

Marvin Jones Jr., Oklahoma What to do with this guy? I've tracked him through 3 schools and he couldn't start ... but I believe his best football could be ahead of him. UDFA if I had to guess.Just a Guy.

Joshua Josephs, Tennessee DNP but one of my favorites from this class. LONG arms and rangy with twitch off the edge ... He's gonna be in the zone in the 3rd I think. Again, if we want a 4th edge, this is the draft for it.Loooong, lean situational pass rusher until he gets bigger, I'd say round 3.

Nyjalik Kelly, UCF Abysmal 40 (4.9) but fluid on field drills. His tape is decent I was stunned by the 40.

Malachi Lawrence, UCF Winner of this group. Jumped form maybe mid round likely to early Day 2 or possibly into the first round depending on how guys view Howell and Faulk IMO. 4.53 40 and perfect drills. I was hoping he'd last until the end of round 3, that isn't happening. He's a fun watch

Max Llewellyn, Iowa I am a huge fan, he may make the 5th. Great technique. Average speed (4.79 at 260) ... but he gives you a guy who will not lose an edge in the run game.perfectly said, big fan.

Anthony Lucas, USC No 40, solid drills ... seems like late round flier type.

Akheem Mesidor, Miami DNP, likely won't hurt him at all.

Derrick Moore, Michigan DNP, but I have him ranked in the top 40. Guys like him, Young, and Sutton are going to be impact players.Really like him.

Trey Moore, Texas So ... led the FBS in sacks at UTSA (14.5) then transferred to Texas and couldn't start in two years (Simmons was there, so ... ) he could be a steal later. 4.54 40 1.60 split. 38.5 vert.

LT Overton, Alabama I know the kid is a football player but I have my doubts ... seems like a 4-3 edge against the run that moves inside.Not. A. Fan. at all. day 3 JaG

T.J. Parker, Clemson I thought he had a good, not great day ... I'd still have Young, Sutton and Moore ahead of him.Really solid round 2 guy. Tested as expected.

Patrick Payton, LSU DNPReally wanted to see him test. Gotta wait for a pro day I guess. Day 3 regardless.

Jack Pyburn, LSU DNP

Mason Reiger, Wisconsin This is the most underrated player in the class at this position. Transferred into Wisconsin and got better during the year, and has completely destroyed the post season process. 6-5 251 .... 1.61 split. 40 inch vert. Again, could make the 5th round. Would I take him at 100? I'd likely rather trade down and then take him in the 4th.Stop talking Alyo, I want to see him drop in day 3. Absolutely a target of mine.

Tyreak Sapp, Florida Talented kid, moves well, chunky edge. -43 edge move inside?

R Mason Thomas, Oklahoma no 40, which I wanted to see. Feel like he gets jumped and could slide to the 3rd...I still think he is a round 2 guy, who knows.

Nadame Tucker, Western Michigan Special teamer ... had a lot of sacks at western Michigan but is a bit lower on the athlete scale than needed for his size.

Wesley Williams, Duke Abysmal 40 (4.9) ... but he's a better football player than that. His drills were smooth, just not super sudden. 7th round or UDFA

Zion Young, Missouri From the physical standpoint, eyeball test, he and Dennis-Sutton were the monsters. Had great drills but didn't test. I don't think it hurts him.An absolute beast, relentless. My kind of edge for sure.

LB Note, a lot of guys skipped the 40.

CJ Allen, Georgia DNP, which in this class may hurt him.I think he's overhyped. Round 2 guy to me.

Lander Barton, Utah No 40 ... likely a ST guy to start, solid drills, a little upright for my tastes.I like him, but he seems to have plateaued. I bet he'd be a ST demon though.

Wesley Bissainthe, Miami No 40 ... drills were a bit clunky. This is a tough class to not be exemplary and expect to get drafted.ST only, undersized and not that quick or smooth.

Bryce Boettcher, Oregon Smooth mover, big presence and personality ... in this class he's just average.Yep, literally an average backer with a huge motor. That equates to ST stud to me, so day 3.

Kendal Daniels, Oklahoma He's not the fastest, no 40 ... or the smoothest. I can't see him getting drafted.

Kaleb Elarms-Orr, TCU Had a good day at every level, ran a 4.47 at 231 ... great bouncy drills. He helped himself at least get toward the upper couple tiers and out of the "mess"

Keyshaun Elliott, Arizona State DNP ... like his tape, dunno how far he slides.

Aiden Fisher, Indiana I love his game. Just a super smart defense manager. He could slide ... but his tape is 3rd round. A tad undersized, team captain, high IQ/processor, not real athletic. Redundant with the backers we have IMO

Eric Gentry, USC DNP ... I don't really have him as draftable. He measured 6-7 though. And 221 lbs. So long and lanky, where would you even play him? He can't stack and shed, he can't fill a gap because he gets washed out. STs for punt blocking and gunning?

Jake Golday, Cincinnati People are really high on him, and I get it, but in this class I just don't have him separated. People are sayign top 40, I'm not seeing that. 4.6 40 39 vert Explosive athlete and it showed. Hot motor, average at best in coverage. Again, we have those guys. I don't see top 50.

Owen Heinecke, Oklahoma Still trying to get another year in college? Wild times ... but he is really smooth in drills and played really well this year, he'll get drafted.Undersized, intense, athletic and probably a ST contributor with his mindset.

Anthony Hill Jr., Texas One of the athletes ... likely a top 40 LB 4.51 40 and his tape backs it up.Top 40 guy for me, I love his game, good size, super athletic, great mindset. Not talked about enough.

Justin Jefferson, Alabama Came in hot, but didn't outperform Rodriguez. I'm not interested.Day 3 WILL in a 43, agreed, not interested unless he is a ST type.

Jack Kelly, BYU Didn't see the 4.57 40 coming but I did see the 4.19 Short shuttle (tied for lead with Rodriguez). This is a target of mine. Sideline to sideline, beefy (241), and 10 sacks last year so he can get after it. Day 3 depth piece with ST bonus IMO. He gets after it and has the size and range, he's missing something. I cannot figure it out.

Deontae Lawson, Alabama Drills were a little awkward, but he has decent tape. No 40. He needed that.He either plays a bit out of control or he cannot diagnose and just guesses be cause he is all over the place. That said, a 43 WILL I think, so no interest from the Rams I hope. 2 time team captain.

Kyle Louis, Pittsburgh Many see him as a safety so I was watching him like that. His athleticism wasn't up or down ... if someone likes him, this performance won't help or hurt him. He's either a 43 WILL or a SAF. I say let someone else draft him and figure it out. I would have him lose 8 lbs, put him as a box SAF and call it a day. But thats me. I do love his game. I think he'd be great on STs as well.

Red Murdock, Buffalo DNP, bummed on that.Murdock, I'm coming to get you. A line from an 85' action film. Just wanting to see how many actually read us Alyo.

Namdi Obiazor, TCU 4.53 40 and great drills. Both TCU kids really helped separate themselves.I was pleasantly surprised. I like the kid, but I like TCU defenders.

Harold Perkins Jr., LSU DNP ... he was a freshman AA expected first rounder, and he just stopped growing. How do you draft a guy who doesn't improve?Again, the kid stopped growing, and for being undersized, his coverage is average at best. 43WILL that runs free and cleans up messes?

Arvell Reese, Ohio State Guys were drooling over him. He's a top 4 pick.Agree, but there's a lot of projection on his game.

Jacob Rodriguez, Texas Tech I don't get the hesitation on this guy. I would take him at 29. He could last til the 3rd round. Best short shuttle, 4.57 40 at 234. 6.9 3 cone (that's WR level) ... so athleticism has nothing to do with it. he has forced 13 fumbles in his career.I'll split the difference and take him at the end of round 2. Bonus points for an amazing mustache. His only knock, and its not a terrible thing, can be overaggressive.

Jimmy Rolder, Michigan This guy and the next guy are simply underrated, highly skilled, athletic, and technical opportunities. 4.26 SS, 7 3 cone ... 36 vert. Arrives angry ... don't sleep on him.His best football is ahead of him. 11 career starts and already demonstrates a high IQ for the position, is always coming at you and when he wraps you up, you are tackled. 4 missed tackles last year. I'm gambling on his upside.

Karson Sharar, Iowa Maybe one of the better guys in coverage this year. 4.56 40 ... 40 vert ... 6-1 231. Again, looking at late and a teamer to start. back on these two, Michigan and Iiowa LBs are hard to miss on.Late, late day 3, I'm not a huge fan, but I understand what you are saying with him. Another 1 year starter, so upside potential. Prefer Rolder way more if I'm being honest.

Xavian Sorey Jr., Arkansas Im not as high on him as most but he was solid. I'd have him below the TCU guys. Might be had late but I think he's better as a backup. He's a WILL that can't cover. undraftable.

Sonny Styles, Ohio State I mean... I'd bet he's a Harbaugh pick.I still don't like the fact that he is a drag down tackler. I prefer more violence in my backers. And he struggles at times to stack and shed and prefers to run around blockers. That said, if the Rams took him at 13, I'd be thrilled.

Josiah Trotter, Missouri Bench 27 reps on bench, DNP. Im not super high on him.I actually am. He is a downhill thumper/disruptor. His coverage is not good, but he seems athletic enough (can go sideline to sideline) to improve on that. Round 3 maybe late 2.

Scooby Williams, Texas A&M I don't think he gets drafted, DNP A fairly decent coverage backer. I wished he was a better tackler. Day 3

Wade Woodaz, Clemson I'm a big fan, DNP. But this guy could be a real steal ... he's a Clemson favorite among coaches. I had him clocked under 4.6 so ...Definition of a lunch pail guy. Average at almost everything.

Taurean York, Texas A&M He is a starter since his freshman year. But he's 5-10. That's the issue. He had a decent day but can anyone get past 5-10? London Fletcher didn't get drafted.

I just watched the RBs run today ... saw the DBs and TEs yesterday ... dang.

Questions and comments welcome ...
