I think it was disingenuous of AD to critique a 2nd Year defender inJared Verse and act like he wished he was out there. He has decade of experience and he was full after he retired.
There were several times during his career when we were waiting for him to get a sack.
He was always a factor that teams accountes for and Verse gets plenty of attention and alters the game. When you do not have the backend support that we lacked Verse cant be at his very best. I am not at all worried about him and I don't really believe that Donald is. I think he is a fan and probably hopes to motivate Verse but I dont think he should have said all he said when I recall several occasions where he had a hard time delivering the goods but it was never for a lack of effort instead a lack of supporting cast.
Truth is truth. I never hold truth against anyone. Nothing AD said was wrong or mean spirited. So if Verse is smart he'll take that criticism the right way and get to work.
