And I don't mean instead of the Rams but in addition to the Rams.
Growing up in Illinois I was lucky to see the Rams 3 or 4 times a year (other than playoffs)
And I love football...
Not on purpose but I ended up liking a AFC team too (not while playing the Rams)
I remember quite well who my first favorite AFC team & I'll probably get hammered by the Calif crowd but it was the Raiders...ok, bear with me....
It was because of one player... George Blanda, loved when he'd come in & bail Lamonica out. (Leaster Hayes was a bad azz too)
Other than that, if the game was of no consequence to the Rams I'd root for the underdog.
You couldn't possibly know the whole story with only half the facts.
