Obviously not a prototypical NFL QB, but neither are Kyler Murray, Bryce Young or Russell Wilson and he seems to have some of their traits?
Maybe not a bad #3 QB to have around and see how he might develop?
I would be ok with that. Rams traded up in the 4th for RB Hunter last year, and they took QB Stetson Bennett in round 4 in 2023. If they did the same for Chambliss this year, I think there is a high risk/reward. Not a big deal if he ends up being a bust.
I`m thinking Jayden Maiava next year. I know its early but right now I would say he would probably be around the 4th QB taken in the 2027 draft. Arch Manning (#1), Sayin (could possibly not declare) and Moore probably go before him. Also interested in seeing how much Mateer and Sellers improve. Then there is Mestemaker (could possibly not declare) now in Oklahoma State and Leavitt in LSU. I doubt next years class will be a flop like this years but you never know. Next year looks like the year!
