I also mentioned in a previous post he has only been a DC for 2 yrs some of it was a combination of several things with the D including his short Exp as being a DC & it cost our Rams most likely Winning our 3rd SB Dammit! Again, I remember in a TC interview with McVay when basically asked about upgrading at CB he said they felt the Rams had 4 starting CBs. Stafford & the offense had to carry the Team for the most part & they couldn't even make a mistake here or there, but the D made many many many mistakes (included ST mistakes) that the offense had to take up the slack for over & over. The Offense never got another chance in the NFCCG as the D had 2 chances to get off the field to get them the ball back to Win it but of course, they couldn't get off the field at the end in the clutch. I also remember a D player basically say during the season if we mess up, we got #9 to Win it for us (In other words Dad will fix the Flub ups! What a terrible waste of Stafford & the Offenses season is sickening reminded me of many NFCCG losses going way back. GO RAMS!
