Never thought about that before. Under Mcvay, the Rams haven't drafted a single corner with any accolades. And there's a few who were expected to at least be average (David Long, Robert Rochelle, Tre Tomlinson). So maybe they can't develop defensive backs. Or maybe they just don't have the same ceiling as developing them as they do receivers. Maybe you just spotted that the Rams really need to get a corner at 13, because we can trust them to develop a decent receiver that they draft later. We can't trust them to do it at corner.
