East West

February 03, 2026 05:48AM
The East west Game I watched before, so my memory is not as clear. Most of these guys are eyeballing "maybe" getting drafted and being high priority FAs ... If they're on the list it means I want at least to see more and consider them possibilities in one way or another ... the ones I have opinions on I'll put in italics like the OP.

Usually guys in this game's ceiling is the 3rd round. I don't see that changing this year with a couple possible exceptions. Also, noting that the interior linemen this year were a good group, so there's not going to be much separation between most of those guys here vs. Mobile.

Another note ... the competition gets better with vet QBs playing ... the game was watchable and competent. I know everyone has opinions about the portal and extended stay college america ... but it gives evaluators much more content to work with and the overall play gets better.

Last "note" ... Mumpfield got our attention here last year.

Marcus Allen North Carolina CB EAST 29 No game sighting, but he's long and with Belichik this year I don't know how to grade UNC guys.

Brent Austin California CB EAST 25 "Paco" had a solid game and I like him as a late round slot. Feisty, not sure on measurables.

Shad Banks UTSA LB WEST 37 Had a great game. I missed UTSA this year so glad to see him fly here ... you're looking at a core special teamer you likely don't have to draft.

Lander Barton Utah LB EAST 8 2 way player, physically limited but loves the game.

Dillon Bell Georgia WR EAST 86 I keep waiting for him to be better. I can't see him making a roster.

Skyler Bell Connecticut WR WEST DEP 1 Belitnikoff finalist ... upper end talent of this game, could have been in Mobile. TD grabber.

Malik Benson Oregon WR WEST 4 Again thought he could have been in Mobile, and hats off to him for competing on short rest. But that's what he is, a competitor. He's a 4th WR at best but don't sleep on him.

Josh Braun Kentucky OG EAST 79 Lots of good beef in this game. Defense didn't win the LOS.

Kentrel Bullock South Alabama RB EAST 23 Good effort runner, little bit of wiggle.

Ethan Burke Texas EDGE WEST 92 Didn't play, so need to see him at the combine. This class is really deep.

Jager Burton Kentucky OC EAST 62 I like his game for a late 6th or 7th round developmental guy.

Jeff Caldwell Cincinnati WR WEST 9 So ... this guy is my sleeper. I thought he was much better than Cyrus SAllen who got to Mobile, and he has crazy measurables and makes contested catches, plays super angry. He got dinged in the game after making some splash plays and took a seat, but not before he did something I'd never seen ... caught a contested ball over the middle and was stiff arming the CB before he actually got back to the ground. He's 6-4 215 and can move.

DJ Campbell Texas OG EAST 51 Good beef.

Jadon Canady Oregon CB WEST DEP 23 He's a well traveled slot who makes plays.

Demond Claiborne Wake Forest RB WEST DEP 25 Love this kid's game, I think he rested for the actual game. He could have been in Mobile I have him higher than half the backs there. This guy is my Monangai this year, except faster. His nickm=name is "Glitch" ... and he's only 5-10 195 but he has burst and power. Underestimate at your own risk.

Brandon Cleveland NC State IDL EAST 44 Good beef, love NCstate OL.

Dean Connors Houston RB WEST 44 Angry runner who will play teams and be a good 3rd or 4th in your stable. Also solid hands.

Dontay Corleone Cincinnati IDL WEST 2 Target at DT ... could be highest player drafted from here. Didn't see him in the game.

Jalon Daniels Kansas QB EAST 15 Could he be a backup? I think so ... lots of injury history but also lots of experience.

Garrett DiGiorgio UCLA OT WEST 72 This fella caught my eye as a possible later round pick ... he was violent and moved people well ... 6-7 322.

CJ Donaldson Ohio State RB WEST 22 Big, but not as bursty as I want ... that said, he scored a TON of TDs in college. 6-1 240.

Jaden Dugger Louisiana LB EAST 32 Heat seeking missile, likely core special teams.

Giovanni El-Hadi Michigan OG EAST 58 I thought he'd be in Mobile ...

Jack Endries Texas TE EAST 84 This is a very capable TE and again not sure why he wasn't at Mobile .. he's caught passes from Mendoza and then Arch Manning.

Fa'alili Fa'amoe Wake Forest OT WEST 79 Big kid, I have him on a watch list. Again, the O line in this game held up well and he has solid tape.

Joe Fagnano Connecticut QB WEST 12 Don't quite know what to do with him. I mean, he could be a backup but limited arm strength might be an issue.

Andre Fuller Toledo CB EAST 30 Toledo has been producing DBs ... Ill be watching his combine.

Josh Gesky Illinois OG WEST 60 Interior O line for Illinois was better than OTs ... should be solid.

Mark Gronowski Iowa QB WEST 11 I don't think he has starter potential, but with his legs he could make for a really solid backup.

Jaylon Guilbeau Texas CB WEST 36 Liked him almost as much as Muhammed. Had a solid game.

Aaron Hall Duke IDL EAST 91 Rotational guy who makes plays, a TFL standout that recovered a fumble and ends up with a lot of split sacks from guys being forced up into the pocket. He played with great DEs.

TJ Harden SMU RB WEST 34 I like his game, need to see burst numbers because he's not explosive looking all that often.

Emmanuel Henderson Jr Kansas WR WEST 81 Bama transfer, has talent and athleticism...

Robert Henry Jr UTSA RB EAST 3 Angry bursty kid ,,, squatty. Likely undrafted but not to be counted out.

Aidan Hubbard Northwestern EDGE WEST 91 Edge is great this year ... This is a steady meat and potatoes dude. And he gets his wins.

Jalen Huskey Maryland SAF WEST 32 Also a fan of MD safeties ... had a solid game, I think a big stop and maybe a FF?

Domani Jackson Alabama CB WEST 26 USC transfer .. 4.25 speed at 6-1 190. He should be better than he is.

Keyshawn James-Newby New Mexico EDGE WEST 56 Guy popped in the one game I saw and made some plays in this game as well. Just have to watch for his #s.

Christian Jones San Deigo State OT EAST 65 Big kid, 6-6 335 ... solid feet. Needs a redshirt for strength and diet probably ... but is in the conversation for swing OT.

Marvin Jones Jr. Oklahoma EDGE EAST 94 Son of the HOF LB, kinda always found himself as the third DE on good teams. But he made some noise when R Mason Thomas was out.

Jaren Kanak Oklahoma TE WEST 82 Ex QB who made a ton of plays and is comfortable with catching the ball and blocks pretty well.

Haynes King Georgia Tech QB WEST 10 Tough as nails. I think it'll be tough to cut him.

Miles Kitslemen Tennessee TE EAST 48 Kid makes plays ... not a downfield target so much but a TE2 who can get you 7 if you need it.

Cade Klubnik Clemson QB EAST 2 Most talented QB in any of the All star games. No idea what his blockage is. If it can be fixed he's the only starter playing in any of these games.

Malachi Lawrence UCF EDGE WEST 51 Again, great edge class. This guy would normally be in Mobile ... likely 5th rounder.

Tristan Leigh Clemson OT EAST 67 Didn't follow him much during the year but he showed well during this game.

Riley Mahlman Wisconsin OT WEST 71 Unspectacular but worth watching.

Lake McRee USC TE EAST 87 Love this kid. I have him rated more highly than many of the kids in Mobile (Endries, too). He makes highlight catches and runs with anger. He could be a 3rd or 4th rounder easy, but who knows what I'm not seeing.

Ahmaad Moses SMU SAF WEST 30 Thick hitter. Liked him for years. Core teamer and solid backup.

Miller Moss Louisville QB WEST 14 The question of the year is, can they be a backup?

Red Murdock Buffalo LB EAST 42 Kid popped for me during the game, I don't know if I have Buffalo tape.

Febechi Nwaiwu Oklahoma OG WEST 54 This fella had a really solid game ... Need to check my notes.

Pete Nygra Louisville OC EAST 50 Likely no more than a career backup, but worth noting.

Brian Parker II Duke OC WEST 53 One of the better OL prospects in this game. Liked him at Duke, leader, liely a steal for the right team in the 5th or 6th.

Patrick Payton LSU EDGE EAST 99 Underachiever ... but things at LSU went sideways.

Harold Perkins Jr LSU LB EAST DEP 7 High pedigree LB that was freshman AA and the next big thing to an after thought. I'm following his journey at this point to see what happened more than anything else.

Diego Pounds Ole Miss OT EAST 61 Big kid ... I don't know if his feet are good enough for the outside.

Eli Raridon Notre Dame TE EAST DEP 9 Again a higher rated TE, was a player of the week at his position, had great tape, didn;t play in the game. Really, don't be surprised when 3 of these TEs go higher than the TEs from Mobile.

Ar'maj Reed-Adams Texas A&M OG WEST 55 Good beef here, will be watching late rounds.

Mason Reiger Wisconsin EDGE EAST 22 I knew he was a high motor edge kid, but he blew this game up. Made a ton of money IMO. 2 sacks and a sack strip in the end zone. Ill be watching for him if we don't go edge earlier.

Dom Richardson Tulsa RB WEST 47 Hadn't seen Tulsa, he really impressed me. Anyone else get eyes on him during the year?

Eric Rivers Georgia Tech WR WEST 13 Should get drafted, likely a 4th but valuable.

Chase Roberts BYU WR WEST 88 6-4 215. Solid hands and plays with passion ... wasn't in the game that I saw.

Myles Rowser Arizona State SAF EAST 24 Good safety class, kid can hit and made some plays in the game.

Miles Scott Illinois SAF WEST 20 Illinois DBs are another ... coached well, instinctual.

Karson Sharar Iowa LB WEST 43 Kinda came on late in the year, and played well here as well. Likely UDFA but that's kind of our thing.

Bauer Sharp LSU TE WEST 80 Easy moving TE ... solid hands ... UDFA likely.

Avery Smith Toledo CB EAST 4 I'll repeat what I say about Toledo players.

DQ Smith South Carolina SAF EAST 21 Safety across from Kilgore ... not as active and likely UDFA but worth noting.

Anthony Smith East Carolina WR WEST DEP 24 Underrated WR that could slide off the draft board who has size and contested catch ability at 6-3 195. If he runs well (which he could) he may jump some rounds. Makes big plays and possession plays.

Robert Spears-Jennings Oklahoma SAF WEST 33 Bigger safety more of a box player but solid.

J.Michael Sturdivant Florida WR WEST 89 Another talented WR that got lost transferring ... should have stayed at UCLA. That said, the talent is upper echelon.

Kolbey Taylor Vanderbilt CB WEST 35 On my list for mid-late round DBs. Had a solid game.

James Thompson Jr Illinois IDL WEST 90 Best interior lineman that played (Corleone sat) ... caught my eye for our style of player.

Chip Trayanum Toledo RB EAST 14 3 Transfer RB that finally ofund a home, has better lateral agility than I remembered. Might not get drafted but is worth a look.

Dillon Wade Auburn OG EAST 52 Good beef, that is all.

Kaden Wetjen Iowa WR WEST 21 I've talked a lot about him elsewhere, he's a target for me.

Cole Wisniewski Texas Tech SAF EAST 5 So, this kid didn't have as much flash during the season because of the D in front of him, but he really showed up and caught my eye this game (even though he dropped an INT). Late round target. He's big, also, I think 6-3 218 or something.

Michael Wortham Montana WR EAST 88 Return specialist UDFA.

Ceyair Wright Nebraska CB WEST 15 Solid, late rounder ...

Taurean York Texas A&M LB EAST DEP 31 Freshman AA, did not grow an inch since freshman year, 5-10 219. So ... special teams UDFA.

Colbie Young Georgia WR EAST 81 Feisty with the ball in his hands, but I wanted more production from him.

CJ Williams Stanford WR WEST 81 This kid caught my eye. I saw him in season on a terrible Stanford team. He came in the night before and made multiple plays in the game. Athletic and decent size at 6-1 205 and built solid.
