That $42M already accounts for Atwell, Havs, and Higbee since their contracts expire after the 2025-2026 season. IOW, the cap benefit of them not being on the team is already included in that $42M space.
The Rams could cut Adams and boost their cap space by $14M. (Good luck replacing his production for $14M).
And the Rams could cut Darious Williams and get another $7.5M in cap space.
p.s. the projected increase in the cap is also reflected in the $42M figure.
