I hope the whole team comes out extra-motivated today.
I hope they come out ready to play hard, though, rough, physical football with Verse's and Staffofrd's mouths running in high gear. Matthew doesn't say much, but he makes it count and the whole league listens. Verse keeps that verbal ernergy, shall we call it, running all the time. I hope it punctuates some sorte points and vain egos, causes some mental slip-ups and blown plays - causes somebody to lose concentration every now and then and get hammered, beat on a play, or pancaked by what he didn't see coming.
I want to saee extra-hard, punishing blocks delivered by our oversized receivers (AKA tight ends) on smaller D-backs. I want to see the 49er back end wheezing and bruised up when Stafford throws to Puka and Davante late in the game.
I want to see Dotson and Avila plow whoiever is on the other side of the line, regardless of formation, on running plays.
I want to see everybody finish their work on every play.
Take it to them. The 49ers are a good team and they're well coached.
They also have a
de facto dirty head coach who plays innocent in interview (a dead giveaway) and don't hesitate to let cheap shots and dirt slip over the edge - things like that extra twist under the pile, that hit after the whistle when nobody'd looking, that punch to the kidneys or face when it can be disguised to look like part of the play.
I don't want to see that dirt from the Rams. I do want to see them come out steaming and riled up, ready to deliver an
offensive, defensive, mental, emotional, and physical beatdown[[/b]/i] to the 49ers. I want to see the 49ers leave the game humiliated as they head for the whirlpools, and carry a few extra bruises into their next game.
