Almost posted a poll on it, still may.
Verse is better, sheer force.
But I don't think we can pay both. That's another reason I'm looking at this draft class for edge.
The hope is franchise and trade for BY. Get a first for him and let him go where he wants. We're gonna be ring hunting this year and next.
Then we're gonna be QB hunting and that's when we can use him as capital.
I don't like to plan ahead to trade guys but we're likely poling at 45 Mil per for verse next year. BY will be close to that. So will Puka. Turner probably 25.
I see your point shamucci...

On Offense I think they try to keep Jimmy G and Dedich should be inexpensive. All the rest on that list are expendable and some represent considerable cap savings if they leave. Thing is that I also believe that they will try to extend Puka early to ensure that they keep him in the fold for 5 more years. THAT’s gonna require some draft capital and/or creative contract structuring.
On Defense it gets much more tricky. I’m hoping for Landman and Lake to be extended. The rest seem expendable in a tight cap situation. But here again, Rams might want to extend Young and Turner early which will further strain the cap, I’d imagine. But it will be cheaper than waiting until after the 2026 season.
Snead has gotta keep drafting well to replace departing players that Rams just can’t afford.
