From McVay's interview...he said Karty isn't going anywhere....even if Mevis hits all his field goals against the 49ers. Karty will be given a chance to keep his job by hitting his field goals in Seattle.

McVay probably knows Mevis will miss some field goals against the 49ers.....but knows the 49ers are the weaker team and the game will probably not be that close.

McVay knows the game with Seattle will be tight and if Karty performs better in a close game....he will get the job back.
