I'd hate to see him go to a division rival, given the one-score games that have become the norm. He was absolute mone in college - long game-winners under pressure, in harmony with a snapper and holder who got their jobs done and innpovate, solid coaching. With good pieces around him, he'd do that in the NFL.

Worse, I'd hate to see him go to the Bills (where the kicker is long in tooth) or follow Butker (30+) at KC - and kick a winning field goal against the Rams in the big game.

Other than that, I wish him all great success - elsewhere. Away from Blackburn, away from a holder who is still learning, and away from what is perhaps well-intentioned but abysmalk management of the situation as Blackburn feeds his junk input up the pipeline to McVay and Snead.

I hope Blackburn is gone before he ruins Mevis, making it five kickers in a row who have regressed under his coaching.
