Again, I'm missing more than half of the games. I'm going to see if I can get some live (though that's not my preferred method) but luckily I know most of the teams well enough already.
Northwestern USC is tonight, taking any opportunity to see Maiava ... and Northwestern is actually pretty good this year. Notably their OLT Tiernan who reminds me a bit of Whit. 6-7.5 335 and can move. I don't think we're in the market, but if we were? Of course Makai Lemon is a top 20 WR ...
Maiava played with an edge last night. You could see he was pissed off over his performance last week in Lincoln, Nebraska and wanted to make a statement. You can see he really believes in himself and has the mentality to play the position on the next level. He made that one bad pass for an INT but immediately made up for it forcing the fumble for a touchback. He is a competitor! If he declares, I really think he is definitely someone the Rams look at in round 1 after the Simpson`s and Mendoza`s are off the board. He will need a year behind Stafford of course. Makai Lemon looked great as usual and walk on freshman RB King Miller continues to impress.
Tomorrow
Likely only worth the first half, but I want to see Mendoza vs. PSU's secondary. IND and PSU.
Georgia Miss st is a trap game.
You called the trap game last week!
TTech and BYU should be really good.
#7 TT LB Jacob Rodriguez is a force with 5 forced fumbles this season. Crazy that BYU is #7 and with a freshman QB in Bear Bachmeier. This will be a really fun and interesting to watch.
A and M vs Mizzou should be tight. Got 3 edge players in the top 3 rounds I'd bet.
Another good matchup!
Oregon Iowa is a trap game, or the game where Dante Moore takes the lead ...
Interesting matchup! Moore still needs to show me more. Iowa`s defense can always be disruptive.
If you want to see some unheralded solid play, check out Duke/UCONN.
Agree!
Iowa st and TCU ... should be a battle. I like TCU's secondary
Auburn Vandy should be a bloodbath.
Pavia is always fun to watch
UVA Wake has the two most underrated RBs in the country.
FSU Clemson in the battle to be bowl eligible by the country's biggest underachievers.
100%
LSU Bama. Simpson vs Nussmeier should put that discussion to bed. Both are coach's kids.
Simpson has been Mr. consistency. 20/1 TD/INT ratio. He`s my #1 right now. Another chance for Nussmeier to show more than he has all season. LSU is 10.5 point underdogs going into Tuscaloosa.
Questions and comments welcome ...
