We went to the Rams/49rs game a couple years and took Uber to the game and going there was fine but after the game they did something that prohibited us from getting a Uber to come to the stadium.
There was a mass migration of people walking away from the stadium to get far enough away to get an Uber.
I'm not sure how far you have to walk away from the stadium to get an uber but we figured we would walk back to the hotel.
Was a bit of a mistake because we walked about 5 miles before we decided to call an Uber for the lat couple miles.
There was a place in the parking lot the bar tender at our hotel called the "Tent city" where people tailgate.
He invited us to his party but we couldn't find it. But there were were parties that people would let people pay a little
Money to join their party which included food and drinks.
While looking for the bar tenders party I was standing at a table at a tent which had a lot of top shelf bottles of booze and the lady said make yourself a drink just leave a donation.
I made a margarita with Patron and Countreau left a $20 donation and we went looking for the bar tenders party.
Couldn't find it so we went back to get another margarita and made another and the lady asked if we wanted food.
I didn't want to impose too much and they kept insisting and said how about a hot link.
Finally I said ok I'll have a hot link.
They brought me a plate with a hot link, wings and potato salad.
There were bands playing.
Two we saw were a Metallica band that was outstanding and mariachi band .
Had a great time and the atmosphere was super friendly there were Ram tents and 49er tents and everyone got along.
It was incredible.
I hope to go to another game there again and hope the tent city is still civilized and enjoyable for everyone.
