Hard to argue with the kid from Indiana.
If they pick a QB this year he will sit for a season. While McVay may prefer a seasoned QB he wants a really good seasoned QB and those are hard to get a hold of.
There are 4 or so teams that will be ahead of us that are desperate for a QB and we may not have the draft capital to move up. Are the other guys seem ready or worth trading up in the draft. Unless you have a draft class that is loaded like 2 years ago most of the true difference makers are going to go in the top 4 or 5 picks. I know their are exceptions but finding one of those is a huge crap shoot.
Do we trade a 1st for more draft capital for the 2027 draft class? I think if they don't draft a QB this year that we will trade away one of our picks to load up the following year.
Still lots of time for some of these other guys to emerge.
