All the players listed were hreat backs in their own way and the order could be scrambled and it wouldn't matter since they all played in different times.
1. Faulk: based on the fact he did everything while looking like he Wasn't trying very hard.
He had moves to get through traffic like Houdini, and was probably the best RB receiver and was part of the GSOT.
2. McCutcheon:
Mostly because i was just becoming a football fan.
He didn't seem to get tackled for a loss very often even though it seems like he was always running into a swarm of defenders and always gains yards.
I was only 9 years old and I figured he could run the ball 1-3 downs would always get a first down.
3. Dickerson:
He had a stride and ability run around the edge and looked like a gazelle when he ran.
4. Gurley:
He was an absolute stud.
I was going through some catastrophic health issues and a one of the physical therapists I had told me the Rams should take it slow with him because of his injury. I wonder how great he could have been if the Rams would have allowed him more time to recover from his college injury.
5. Bettis:
Bettis was a beast.
It made me sick they traded him for a known thug.
Imagine if they kept Bettis.
I hated seeing the Rams trade a great player just to draft another player with potential to be problem.
I really liked Steven Jackson but even though he could power through the line he tended to have a a good amount of runs for very short gains and for a loss and had a lot of long runs.
Great running backs like McClutcheon or Tyler that always seemed to gain some yards keeping defenses honest.
Crazy legs was a Rams icon and a half back who gained the vast majority of his yards receiving the ball.
And he was general manager who drafted some of the Rams greatest players like Devon Jones.
