On players who lack effort at the skill and trenches positions, but the skill guys like kickers and punters never got better if fans bag on them.
Karty was great in college. He was great in the second half of last season. He developed a weaponized kick off skill set this season—which may have tweaked his approach on field goals and extra points.
But a guy who has shown he can do in is the special teams skill positions are like golfers who’ve got the yips.
We just need to be patient and let him work this out. If he were doggin it as a linebacker then poor it on.
But if hes got the yips, all the negativity won’t make him better.
