Should be illegal and I'm sure it is, but it wasn't called but it needs to be looked at...you shouldn't be able to basically full force punch a player in the face or side of the head
Did the slow motion also show him removing his left hand from the ball PRIOR to being "hit/punched"?
Yes, great play by the defender but horrible mistake by KW to go one handed at the goal line while running through traffic. Especially since he knows he has fumbled too many times!
No excuses for KW. Using 2 hands in that situation should be done every time. It was a horrible mistake and I am sure he feels bad about just like we do. The difference is he is being paid millions to know how to "protect" the ball and we are not. Yet we all know he should've used 2 hands until the plane of the goal line is crossed.
It's not like this was his first fumble. He should've known better. That's on him. If he uses 2 hands, maybe he still fumbles but then I would be the first to say "well, KW tried to "protect" the ball but the defender was just too strong and made a good play. But I think the odds are much more in favor of him scoring there or at least being downed inside the 1.
It was ANOTHER bad game changing fumble by KW. Unacceptable. In-excusable.
AThat's where I'm at too. Sure he killed it on my fantasy teams, but I'd rather him score the winning touchdown for my team.
