failing to go up 21-20 was like being stabbed in the heart.
There is an old joke, (too early probably), that applies here, I think.... which I'll just summarize -
It's about a guy who has everything in his life go wrong.... giving up he moves to a deserted island where he hopes nothing bad can happen - - then a lightening bolt sets fire to the one coconut tree keeping him alive, burning it down, and he gives up... falls to his knees pleading with God... "Why me, why me, why".... to which the clouds part and a booming voice comes down saying -
"There just something about your face that pisses me off". Yesterday the Football Gods were cruel.
