Or is he doing what McVay is telling him to do? I just dont understand how they can run bone-headed schemes that snatched defeat from victory..
I could see McVay getting in his ear now and then saying "we want to run some clock" or something like that but Shula did this the whole game.
If it IS McVay who told him to play soft, then McVay needs a good swift kick in the @ss or Shula should stand up to him and try and convince him otherwise.
McVay knows exactly how the whiners beat us. Dink and Dunk. I don't see McVay allowing that to happen. In fact, I would be surprised if McVay didn't tell him to tighten up the D. I think McVay even mentioned about "tightening up" to the sideline reporter after half time and they did tighten up for a bit then inexplicably went soft again in OT!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
