How much can possibly go wrong for a kicker?
He's had to readjust his timing. That throws his kicking rhythm off.
Delaying the approach just a nanosecond leads to blocked kicks. The rushers get there just that same nanosecond sooner.
Fizzled blocking up-front doesn't help either.
The kicker thinks: "Lessee... I gotta delay my approach, and the rush is coming and will get closer tyhjan it should, and I gotta make this kick regardless how the hold comes down, and I dare not do anything except trust my holder and work with him, and alter my game to fit what is... "
That's a heavy burden to carry into every kick, knowing that you'll be blamed for every miss.
Do you think Karty would kick better using a ball with no laces??? That way it wouldn't matter how the ball was held by the holder!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
