It's getting old...very old

niner fans were coming in loud and clear on the TV yesterday - it really is sad

First off, let me preface this by saying I am not attacking any Rams fans who DO support the team. I know we have many Rams fans here he go to the games regularly and some even travel to see them as well. I applaud them and will say that we need MORE fans like them.

Anyway...

I am so tired of seeing a sea of red at Sofi, or should I say "Levi's South"?

Pathetic! I am tired of all the excuses too.

1) The Rams moved to Stl and now have no fan base. (Seems to me they DO have a fan base. They just don't show up to all the games and are very quick to sell their tickets to opposing fans to make a quick buck)

2) It's Corporation's that buy tickets and sell them to out of towners. (Then why are some games filled with Rams fans and some not? Are the Rams buying them from the "Corps" at games they do decide to show up to or can't make money reselling?)

3) The weather is too nice in SoCal so people would rather go to the beach. (Really??? So they are "fair weather" fans???)

4) There are too many things to do in SoCal that keeps fan attendance down. (Then they just might not care enough to support the team!)

5) The Rams need to win and people will come. (Well the Rams have been "winners" for a while now, yet we still see the same crap over and over again.)

6) It happens all over the NFL. (It does to a degree, but not as often or to the degree like Sofi does, imo. Also, when was the last time Rams fans took over another teams stadium???)

7) SoCal is filled with people from other cities so their loyalties are not with the Rams. ( ok, I get that but there are plenty of Rams fans there too. They just don't show up consistently and would rather sell their tickets just to make a buck or two)

Plus many more I can't think of right now.

Maybe living near Philly, I am just used to seeing what a true "home field advantage" looks like and I expect too much from Rams fans who are close enough to support the team weekly. H3ll, Philly fans even have a coordinated Travel agency that sells chartered flights at discount prices to get them there. Does LA have anything like that? Would people actually use it???

It's such a shame really. The Rams deserve better support. They are winners and have a storied history. It's sad seeing this happen. Having to use silent counts on offense in your own stadium almost every week is ridiculous. No wonder we play so well on the road!

Ok, rant over. lol

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
