I will say, McVay likes his star players. He loved Ramsey and Donald and OBJ and now Davante. I think he has a man crush on his star players.
I believe it is McVay is forcing all the plays to Davante, not Stafford. We have some plays where if this guy breaks this way, then go to the other guy, but mostly our plays have a target. Stafford is throwing to Davante so much because McVay is calling plays to Davante.
Throwing 50/50 balls on 3rd and 2 needs to stop.
But if you look at the overall theme of all our challenges, it comes down to they are the same challenges we have had and continue to have.
McVay doesn't change. And when he tries to, it looks ugly. Or he gets too cute.
McVay even struggles just to leave his 11 personnel and run 12 personnel.
But we win more games every year than we can remember, and players want to play for him.
