I noticed that the Oline got beat a lot. Some of it was just plain misses. Other times, C-OG and OG-OT co-ordination was really lacking.
I have no doubt they'll improve. These are all good experienced players. It's just first game stuff, especially since they don't play in the Preseason.
Besides. The thing that happens with McVay teams is that they get incrementally better as the season progresses, until they are playing their best in December.
Too many teams come out like gangbusters to start the season, and then fade in the last month (Cowboys, Cardinals, Packers, Steelers lately).
McVay seems very intent that it is a slow, steady progress with peaking late. They just need to be careful not to get off to too slow of start.
Which means they REALLY need to beat the Titans next week. Titans worry me. They play hard. It's on the road. They have nothing to lose, because they know they're going nowhere.
Good news is that the Rams seem to have come out injurywise Ok, and have depth anyway.
