I think our whole D should take a major step forward. Our DL babies are maturing and should create terrific pressure. Landman and Speights should shut down the run. I like our entire secondary. Most guys are returning and those added, Ford and Landman are known for their run-stopping talents. Also our DC is back with the same scheme.

Agree with everything you say SoCalRAMatic. I will add that I think Verse will "finish" some of the near misses last year where he ram himself out of the play just barely missing the sack. I see him learning from that and expect improvement. He seems like the type who watches a lot of game film and also interacts a lot with the coaches who just happen to be very good at making players better.

I see big things for Mr. Verse this season.

Also expect Shula to have learned from some of his errors too. He also is a student of the game with an unparalleled pedigree. He had his defense consistently over achieving last year and think that continues this year too.
