The Athletic posted its week 1 power rankings a bit ago. Rams came in at 10, below Minnesota, Cincinnati and Houston, to name a few. The only reason - Stafford's back. No mention of us possibly having the best (and deepest) pass rush in the NFL, no mention of the Puka/Davante teamup, or having all of our starters on the offensive line playing.
OK, good. I would rather be underestimated. Maybe we can catch some teams sleeping a bit.
I love that we start the season with Houston, a solid team that should give us a good gauge of how good our starters can be. Man, I can't wait until Sunday.
