I think the number of people who dislike the uni's is a lot higher than some will tell you. It's not just 2 or 3 people! lol
I think that is true; but, I also think it's mostly old people who go off the deep end on this stuff. Old people in general like to keep things the way they were and that goes for music, clothes, who people date ... just about anything. It goes on and on and on.
And when, you think about it, a lot of the people who think these things probably won't be here in 15 years, so why would their opinion matter to marketing folks? They are interested in the next 30 years
I'm glad that the Rams and the rest of the NFL teams aren't wearing the same uniforms from the 60s and 70s.
That was 1/2 a century ago! Lol!
Agree with the "mostly" old people comment. It's only logical that

lder" people would be more passionate about the uni style they grew up with and have some amount of "sentimental attachment" to one of them. For me, it's the Ferragamo B+Y's.
I disagree with this part or at least, see it differently...

I can see you your point but I think the disconnect, at least for me, is not so much that they "changed" the uni. It's the changes they DID make. They are terribly uncreative and seem to deminish the "Rams tradition" in favor of incorporating more of the "Los Angeles" history instead and was done primarily as a cash grab. Not an attempt to actually make the uni better.
As for the "They are interested in the next 30 years" part, I get it, but please give me some good reasons why they would think that keeping the traditional style, Ferragamo's, wouldn't or couldn't be able to attract new fans for the next 30 years? It was good enough to attract a very large fan base and was universally loved by Rams fans and non Rams fans alike. I have this excuse several times but never hear WHY the throwbacks couldn't attract as many new fans as a rebrand would. Especially a bad rebrand at that. lol
Can someone please give me those reasons? Please?
I think a lot of us aren't against changes if they are "good" changes and there are so many better renditions by "fans" that still incorporated enough of the old look and still make some upgrades as well.
Bottom line for me is that the rebrand was poorly executed and designed. JMO
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
