The Black jersey post made me think of this and I got to thinking......I simply do not see a whole lot of team merchandise ANYWHERE, like I used to.Even here in Gator Country, I don't see Gator tees like I used to. The last several years when I go to Gator games, I don't see the car magnets and flags like back in the day. I remember in the early 90s, while driving down HWY 301 to Gainesville, I could look forward and in the rear view and see a couple dozen cars decked out. NASCAR has all but vanished! I mean GONE! Used to be you'd see NASCAR flags on poles in front of houses! And countless tee shirts. Same with Jags. Last season, we went to a major Supermarket, here in Jacksonville (Publix) on a game day. I had my Rams jersey on but saw just a handful of Jags shirts and other teams. BIG change from 25-30 years ago. Is it cost?? Not sure I can say that a team's quality counts because that used to not matter. To me, it's a real drag. I always love seeing game day excitement or even Race Day. Simply not there anymore.
